Service Description

Autism assessments are conducted through a multi-step process involving observation, structured tests, and interviews with the patient and possibly their relatives. This evaluation helps identify the individual's strengths and challenges to determine if they meet the criteria for a developmental diagnosis. The assessment typically consists of three consultations: an interview to assess behavior, administration of structured tests to evaluate autism symptoms, and a discussion of the results to create a tailored treatment plan if autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is indicated. The process targets individuals facing communication challenges, disruptions in routines, discomfort with physical contact, and limited interest in social interactions.
